Forno 301 KNOWS pizza! A casual atmosphere, bar seatings and servers that know their stuff - meaning you better be ready to order or the Italian will come out The crust is perfectly crisp, and the toppings include fresh mozzarella and a well-balanced sauce. Standout pies include the Margherita and Diavola with spicy salume. Whenever we go, we share one of those and a plate of fettucine carbonara and it is always amazing. A great spot for anyone craving authentic, delicious pizza in Phoenix.

I love sitting outside on a busy street, makes you feel like you're in the city. Service was fast and friendly. Meatballs may have been my favorite, the spiciness was perfect. Margarita and Forno pizzas were both delicious, not the best pizza I have had, but still good. Toppings fell off the top way too easily. Could use a better beer selection, but it's an Italian place, so should probably expand what I drink. Parking is not far away, but in the Muse apartment complex entrance so could be confusing.

Make a reservation so you can get right in especially with a group. Food was fresh and made to order. We had pizza and several pasta dishes (didn't picture but should have) appetizers and a tiramisu dessert to finish off the evening. Modern Italian eatery with a good vibe.

We came to Forno 301 before catching a show at The Phoenix Theater Company. We made a reservation but were running late--the 10 is closed, traffic is bad, then missed the entrance for parking. We called. The woman who answered insisted we didn't have a reservation. Then said it was fine and she'd hold the table. She didn't. We got seats at the bar. It took a few minutes to get menus and we had to ask for them but after that, everything was amazing. Bartender was great--let my friend try a couple of wines before committing. We split a pizza and a salad. The margarita was great. Could have been a tiny bit crisper, but I was really happy with it. The dressing on the mista salad was amazing. Not sure it went with goat cheese but loved it. Vibe was family owned Italian. People next to us got offered limoncello. So food was great. Will come back.

Generous pour, excellent, tasty pasta - what else needs to be said? But I need 85 characters. Go to Forno

Came here for dinner Sunday night with friends and no reservation, was a full packed hour around 6PM but then it emptied out after the dinner rush. A friend had the Diavola pizza and absolutely loved it, and the rest of us had the Fettuccine Carbonara because it was so highly recommended here on Yelp. While the fettuccini was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was tasty, this was a really lackluster carbonara. If it was just a regular pasta dish it would be great, but none of us would've guessed that it was carbonara if we hadn't known. Practically no egg yolk/egg sauce at all, so pretty disappointing, no richness at all. Otherwise, good large portions, and friendly bar staff. Kind of stuffy, wonder if they had issues with their AC system.

Flavor indeed! I love authentic Italian food and if it's homemade pasta and spicy that's even better! I wanted to write this review after the first bite: yes I can discuss the service, decor and all the rest of it but let's focus on taste. The fra diavolo and the carbonara absolutely blew me away. Thats the way homemade pasta should taste! Served with a nice Moretti in a chilled glass and I'm ready to come back. I'm systematically trying all the Italian food in the neighborhood and Forno is going to be hard to beat!

First of all i couldn't stop talking with my index and middle fingers pressed against my thumb like i was a soprano. Walk into an open floor plan with absolute local vibe, i can tell a lot of the customer lived in building or near by. That's not a bad thing sometimes your neighborhood has beautiful people that like to talk not kick ya out haha. We had the pasta of the day and it blew us away perfect amount of olive oil to pasta, the sausage was chopped in big chunks and the broccoli cooked to perfection hard to do in a pasta in my experience it always come hard and cooks thru during your sitting, thru a little spicy oil over the top and didn't have to bother with the salt... and trust i have a salted pallet good stuff chef! Daughter got the panini and i couldn't help but to take a bite of her sandwich flavors are great cheesy forward with the prosciutto coming in with the tomato right behind, bread was nice and crispy but not a danger to the top of your mouth :). Server was super knowledgeable and didn't mind explaining a couple things to us side note EVOO means extra virgin olive oil haha stop in and have some dinner and a nice cocktail we will be back!
